This proposal celebrates “Weston-Super-Mud” as the location for a therapeutic spa complex, and asks why the success of Vals cannot happen in this corner of Somerset.
Programmatically a cantilevered slab of hotel rooms sits atop baths and mud-therapy spaces that wrap around the island outcrop. Competition 2007. Exhibited.
